Recently, Kakha Kaladze, Mayor of Tbilisi, Georgia received an interview from WTCF. Kaladze shared his thoughts on the Fragrant Hills Summits and Tbilisi's cooperation with WTCF.
As the world s first international tourism organization focusing on cities, World Tourism Cities Federation focuses on the latest development and actions of tourism cities, so as to inspire visitors to pay more attention to local sceneries and promote the development of regional tourism.
Hiking, cycling, water sports, relaxing (and photogenic) ride of historic means of transport like the oldest paddle steamer fleet in the world, historic steam trains or funiculars create a lot of fun. It’s hard to tell all the possibilities tourist can enjoy in our area.
To strengthen the cooperation of international tourist cities is both the general trend and the inevitable course. The World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) has built a very good platform for experiences and resources exchange among tourism cities, pragmatically enhanced the influences of Chinese cities in the world tourism and provided a golden opportunity for building Qinhuangdao into a first-rate international tourism city.
WTCF has become increasingly influential. As a link, it has played a role in connecting and energizing members through information and resource sharing. We expect to work with WTCF more extensively to jointly promote the development of world tourism and relevant industries!
In my opinion, WTCF can play a rather important role in this, as it could promote the image of Torino through its members and people, leading to a supportive incoming co-operation and promotion of a typical Italian way of living.
World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) holds various events, providing the city of Mudanjiang with advanced and innovative tourist concepts, and serves as a wonderful platform for us to facilitate communication and cooperation with other Chinese and foreign member cities of the WTCF. Thanks to WTCF, Mudanjiang city has become a more influential international city.
The WTCF can play a major role in creating partnerships not only with cities but with other key players in the field as well. Finally, the WTCF can provide, as it has done in the past, specific training on the Chinese tourism market, helping us all to understand it more and to offer a better, more Chinese-friendly service in the future.
The city of Belo Horizonte, through Belotur, has recently participated in the 1st Latin America Tourism Conference, in Bogota, a relevant experience to get to know the professionals of tourism of China and establish contacts with other members of the WTCF of that region
